I was able to go with my mom and dad to the
Brigham City Temple Open House this weekend. My mom grew up there (she even went to sixth grade at a school that was on the spot where the temple now is), and my parents met there in high school. My grandparents still live there. So Brigham City is a really special place to our family and it is so wonderful to have a temple there now.
The temple was beautiful. And it was such a nice reminder for what I am striving for... to always stay worthy to enter the temple and make covenants there. And to one day be sealed to my future spouse in a temple of the Lord so that we can be together for time and all eternity.
What an amazing blessing temples are.
